Library Tips By Ladies Auxiliary Board 2026

1. Lemon Tree Books are current books within 10 years. --Example: this year is 2026, so no books from 2016 and earlier are allowed. If you find older ones we put them in boxes to be donated elsewhere.--Margret started putting the year on the upper binder with a sharpie. So you don't always have to check the copyright page.

2. Once a year we go through all the books and weed out the outdated books. They are put in boxes and stored under the pool table farthest from the door. – Later to be donated to Goodwill, etc.

3. There is a small bookcase across from the major book shelf, that was donated for old cowboy books. The men really like them, so they are not organized in any way. Just place them on any shelf if you have any in the return box.

4. The romance books are in the small bookcase on the south wall – under the Book Return box – The first two shelves on the left are large print. The rest start underneath the large print and then go to the right.

5. Hard cover books are in the southeast corner. –

6. All books are alphabetized by the Authors Last name, and then by the title if author has more than one book or a collection of books.
